I'd rather gimp than have shitty AF and worse image quality.
Your shitty AF gives up in less than perfect lighting conditions and even then the a7 series cameras like to lock focus to infinity when it can (I have shot a wedding reception with a friend's a7 AND a7R using FE glass.) And once again I rather gimp rather than get shitty RAW compression.
Mirrorless ARE not a replacement for DSLRs, especially the a7 series. In fact I'd say the best mirrorless right now is the Samsung NX1, but it still only has a 70% hit rate compared to say a Canon EOS 7DII's 95% AF in real world conditions (source comparison reviews between the two).
PS; I have shot with NEX, a7 series in the past for years and own an EOS M (which despite it's slower focusing speed is still more accurate than the a7 series) along with DSLRs. I repeat, mirrorless cameras are not replacement for DSLRs.
