Compared to the rebel, the picture quality, range of depth, versatility of the 70d is so much stronger. Yeah, I can get a rebel and stick a nice lens on it, yeah good photos are from good photographers, not cameras, but I want something I can really take advantage of. I work with fashion so I want a camera than can take portraits well, demonstrate fabric and color, but also take a crisp photo of a decent landscape as I am documenting lifestyle as well. I don't know shit about cameras, but I know the rebel altima to G7 or whatever the hell it is.
