how often are you establishing hyper focal distance at f/2? how often are you measuring things to figure out which aperture to use? this is cool and all but it's hardly a reason to ditch all my gear for a sony. the analog scales on my lenses are close enough.

Most modern lenses don't even have a depth of field scale.
And auto focus lenses generally have a very short distance scale.

Zeiss brings back an important feature from old lenses to a modern system.
I can only applaud this.

I'll bet you're only hating becasue you care more about vintage looks than functionality.

that looks pretty snazzy, but it's not yet in production i'm afraid. i don't even mind a 'hipstish' look. i'm looking for a pack that's all camera though, like OP pic, not a backpack with a camera compartment or instert.
the ikan camera bag looks pretty nice, albeit a bit militaristic maybe. i just wish it had a quick access flap

I love on the 3rd floor.

I have a question too.

Is there a very small backpack with a tripod pocket or a system for graping your tripod somewhere?

Doing it yourself will be cheaper amd you also have control over the quality you get. If you just have to scan 35mm, buy a plustek, scan your stuff and sell it if you're done. Or just keep it and shoot some film. The quality of the plusteks is fine.
