The 5D II is a tank but It would be probably be more worthwhile for you to get something else though. You'd have to invest in compact flash cards and for a worse image than you'd get from a GH4. It's good but it isn't 2010 anymore and you can do better.

I want to print this picture on canvas (70x50) for a friend's birthday. The picture is a low res watermarked scan from a photobook. (I don't own the photobook)

How do I get the original high res. file?
I Googled all over the place for them. Is it possible to contact the photographer and ask him for the raw files? I doubt he will just give it to me no strings attached.

I like canon's warmth a lot though and most of my paid video gigs are shooting concerts, so low light is critical-- im not sold on the gh4 for low light, though all my lenses are manual nikkors so i guess i could use a speedbooster
