Lens selection is literally the only argument, but what's the point in the best glass (which canon certainly isn't) on the worst sensor? You're not gonna attach a bluray player to a 14" crt TV and expect to see an improvement over a dvd.
I get why pros choose them, they have the best customer service by miles and they're images are the most usable sooc. But if you care about photography as an art, they are a poor choice.
