>Not every scene deserves to be photographed.Who decides what events are deserving, you, a government panel, notable experts. What are the conditions, signs of a deserving event, is there a sign, someone with a pointer.
>Most of life is pedestrian and boring.Which is exactly why a good photographer can take "pedestrian and boring" and make it anything but. Besides why does every picture need be of a momentous, life altering, humanity defining event.
>having thousands of photos of fucking nothing at all.Again perhaps to you, if the subject material is not to your liking you can move on. What is important to one person is unimportant to another, that does not render it >"Nothing".
>To take a great photo, you need a great subject. Always. To take a "great" photograph, requires timing, skill, knowledge and a lot of luck. You could have the most momentous event before you, bad knowledge, poor skills, bad timing, a poor "eye" and you have shit.
Most of the photographs held in the highest regard are of life and are pedestrian and boring with ordinary subjects.
I choose to take pictures and have a great time while I am at it, enjoying every moment of my pedestrian and boring life.
Be sure and let us know if you ever manage to power on a camera, figure out how to use the controls, compose your image and jump into life's fast lane with your "great photo" of a "great subject". Then you can host workshops to help all the boring pedestrians, learn how to achieve your level of greatness.
I shall be waiting and watching, when I have time away from enjoying my life.
