FF systems are this weird bastardized step-child of the formats. FF doesn't do anything that MF does as good as MF does it, and FF doesn't do anything the smaller systems do better than the smaller systems do it either, because the conditions that anyone would use a smaller system are those conditions where FF advantages either don't matter or doesn't even have an actual advantage.
Fujifilm has it right with their strategy of APS-C+MF, they see the writing on the wall that the biggest loser in the format wars to come is FF.
