In this industry, key is humility. If you want to make money working projects, being on sets, from a PA to a cinematographer, you MUST be humble. Having such a holier-than-thou attitude gets you nowhere.

I don't plan on "enjoying" photography, I plan on becoming a DP. And he's been a dickwad to me on more than one occasions... I think he's stuck in a gridlock. His photos are decent but he can go way beyond what he is now, but his personal attitude is stopping him. He doesn't want anyone to succeed because he himself has never succeeded in life. He's a miserable being. In fact he's so toxic that his ramblings have shadowed other people's criticism for me.
