Nikon 3xxx and 5xxx bodies are shit, without exceptions, do not pass go do not collect 200 dollars. They're great for soccer moms who wanna shoot greenbox all day but you'll grow out of it in a week if you have any knowledge of how a camera works.
D7100 is an excellent camera and the sensor is tits. It BTFO my 7000 by a country mile and even that is still a highly-rated camera. The D7200 uses the same sensor as the 7100 fyi.
The used FF body will give real full access to Nikon's prime AF-D lens lineup since they will render the same FOV as it was designed to. I have a 28 AF-D which is shit, 35/2, 50 1.4 and 85 1.8 AF-D and they are all excellent performers and can be picked up cheap.e 85 has almost zero distortion, albeit with a little sphereochromaticism wide open on highlights. Th My Df and probably whatever you buy if it was made in the last 5 or 7 years will also automatically correct lens distortion in-camera in .jpg mode for those AF-D lenses.
