gentlemen i to you for advice and tips. i had bought a lumix GH4 a while back and some lenses.
Panasonic LUMIX G VARIO LENS, 12-60MM F3.5-5.6 ASPH
Panasonic Lumix G 14mm f/2.5
Panasonic LUMIX G Lens, 25mm, F1.7 ASPH
Panasonic H-FS45150AK-CR Lumix G Vario Lens, F4.0-5.6 ASPH
SIGMA ART 30MM F2.8
after all this time this camera was essentially collecting dust on a shelf somewhere, but then i saw a crazy crack on a side walk, decided to go home to pick up the camera and go shoot it. which led me to shooting more things and now i want to get into stock photography. so far i have shot over 200 images in a span of like 2-3 days, deleted over half of them and submitted the remainder to shutterstock and adobe. only around ~30 shots went through. i know next to nothing about photography but honestly it's kind of fun and i like looking for things to put on camera.
so far the biggest reasons my shots got denied were for focus, trademark, property release, artwork release, and from adobe a generic "technical issues"
i understand i need a portfolio of 1000s of shots to even consider myself an amateur and so i come here and ask you gentlemen for advice. what should i shoot? how should i shoot? any tips, tricks or suggestions? if you want to see the stuff that made it through from me here you go.
