I went to this instameet and 24 hour project few weeks back and meet some of the IG photographers in my city. It was one of the saddest experiences in my photography travels. These people were glued to their phone 24/7 and gossiped about other photographers based in my area. "Oh all his likes are from hashtags" made me depressed as shit because I took instagram pretty seriously when I first started as a platform of getting my photos out there and looked at. Never receive critique or anything constructive just people who glance and double tap your picture or follow you in hopes you'll follow them back then remove you. Such a shit platform.
