>>2571703this is done. gud jewb. subtle adjustments, yet still naturally balanced.
>>2571970this is too much. like adding too much salt to a nice meal.
dont forget the original op image is very different light, so it will have different saturation and contrast and texture bumpage properties.
you cant make them look as if theyre from same dna/family. you can try but it wont fit, and end up in a try hard abomination.
if we are talking about this kind of images, not cgi related stuff, id say every image has a treshold to play on based on the conditions/mood/lighting.
gud job tho.
remember that a good skin and tone retoucher can do around 1-2 images per day, ready for finalising the project. this includes mertmarcus workflow as well.
grouping more retouchers who work with same eye/tone understanding will yield more photos per day to finalize vice versa..
but it is ok to work on an image per day.just try to learn where to stop, by looking more more and more on finished photographs of natural high end photographers.
gud job. keep on dodge burning that %50gray layer for skin blemishes, balancing, then colouring..keep it simple, and dont forget to zoom out frequently to see wtf you have been doing for that past 45mins.
specialise on that shit, while learning more and more about the colour hierarchy
