>>2573051So much projection and denial.
>>>less dynamic range>Doesn't matter for almost all photos Because scenes with more than 12 stops of dr are rare right?
>>>horrific banding>Only if you can't expose within 3 stops of your goal because you're an idiot Because no one would want to raise their shadows ever, right?
>>>less colour depth>Never see it in practice. Ever. Well you wouldn't if you're well aware if you try and adjust exposure your image will turn to shit.
>>>no dual dials until you get to pro>A 10D has dual dials. What the fuck are you talking about? Oh a $1500 body from over a decade ago, your example is as redundant as canons sensor department.
>>>cheap plasticy body>Build quality matches Sony and nikonLol, the denial.
>>>that rear screen>What? It's fucking awful on the entry rabbles
>>>no weatherproofing until pro>And? You assume everyone here lives on Atlantis or what? I've had every body I've ever owned out in pouring rain, blizzards, sand, etc. I've never had a camera so much as freeze up on me rebel through 1Dmk3But other brands manage to weatherproof their more affordable bodies. It's not like canon can say 'sorry we spent the majority of the budget on x feature' because it's all shit.
>Stop reading charts and actually take photos.Just because your canons can take photos, that doesn't really excuse them for being categorically inferior in practically every way to its competitors. Did you see the raw edit thread a week or two back of a sunset on a beach, did you see how many people got horrible banding in the lower corners.
Personally I always expose with the intention of lifting shadows, underexposing can give lovely rich colours when adjusted in post. But not on canon, never on canon. I owned a 5dii for a week before sending it back as I honestly believed it couldn't be THAT much worse than the k5 I had at the time, it was unusable for me.
