I am comparing 2 cameras, the Panasonic GX-7 and the Fujifilm X-A2.
Similar kind of cameras and similar pricepoints, but the GX-7 wins by a landslide in all the reviews I have seen.
However, the "feelings" that each camera transmite are very different.
The photos I have seen made with a GX-7 seem to have an higher quality. They look like made by photo-studios. Hi-res photos, soft features, a bit dark regarding lighting.
The Fuji X-A2 looks more fresh. A bit rougher but more COLOURFUL (is that even possible?).
Is this possible? I'm a newbie and don't know much about cameras, but they are absolute opposites. While the GX-7 seems better, I prefer the rougher, colourful look of the pictures taken with a X-A2.
What do you think?
Did you ever pick up the worse camera because it transmitted a look more in line with your style, despite being way inferior at the same price?
