re-edited a couple photos last night.
>>2576182stage fog is your worst enemy the second it obstructs the face. not your fault but you could definitely edit this a little better. stop with the borders, these photos aren't for instagram.
>>2576184I like this even though I have no idea what's going on. it's a little distracting, like why are there just two girls there? is this karaoke night and they're waiting their turn?
>>2576189nothing interesting going on here at all. sorry.
>>2576190if this was a little less washed out i would love it. i love the flare near his hand too.
>>2576191this is good too, great bokeh and you captured an "in the moment" shot. love the way it's set up too.
>>2576192wish the hand wasn't there but another "in the moment" shot and i feel like it could be a little brighter.
>>2576193the money shot!!!!!!!! this is the moment when the fog machine isn't a complete asshole. maybe a little more contrast but that's just a personal thing.
>>2576199can't really think of anything i don't like here, good good good.
>>2576242dog, you've only shot two shows? this is a great shot. ditch the borders though please.
>>2576248could've had a quicker shutter, his hand looks like it went through a meat grinder. you nailed the fuck out of the focus on his face and microphone though.
>>2576250this is unusable, sorry. I could listen 20 problems here but we can sum it up with "don't do this again"
>>2576153i dunno, you just find someplace eventually. check venue event pages and record stores. music oriented places that would have content regarding live shows. you gather enough good shit then send it to them and if they like you, you're in. sometimes. also don't expect money at all.
>>2576473concert photography is very fun. if you begin to take it seriously you'll see your work flourish. if you hold beer while shooting then you are not serious but there's nothing wrong with that. just don't expect to get into any clubs/theaters/etc very often.
