Hey /p/, /k/omando here. Im looking for a decent digital camera that isn't going to break the bank.

I don't need something that is studio quality but I want the clearest photo I can get for the money. I need to take some detailed photos of my firearms to document for insurance reasons as well as just general range-day photos for my pleasure.

Work also had me taking complete photos of homes so that would be nice to have something that can capture some detail from across the room without having to take close ups of damage.

video and SD capabilities are a plus. The camera must also be rechargeable.

What do you recommend for a photo-scrub like me? Pic related is a garbage photo of my rifle.
