I am totally noob when it comes to photography. I want to take photos of some jewelries. I dont want them to be perfect anyway just acceptable.

I have one kinda straightforward question.
Is it possible to photograph them and somehow when those are being displaying on a computer monitor be in real size?
I have a feeling that it will be different on different monitors sizes, maybe different browsers or something... Does compression changes the size too?
