I still have nikon d800 for studio work, to pay the bills etc, but fuck me im loving x100t, and carry it in my bag.
Im not into action or tele or zoom lens stuff.
Right, good stuff is the x100t gives what you expect most of the time. Its damn silent, but I miss the clunky shutter sound sometimes.
Its my lazy wonder around city camera, set the shutter min 125 auto, iso max 800-1600 auto..and I just play with aperture as I wish, most of the time preferring 2.8 - 3.6.
If only, it was little bit more faster on the AF side, and had a bit more mpixel I would marry with it.
Classic Chrome profile is....really god fucking damn good. Sad part is, you cant nail down Chrome colours in capture one pro natively. Simulating profiles are there but yeah, the incamera chrome profile is fucking mental level good.
Its, I dont know Im really really content with it...I am really really really looking foward to check out Xpro2 when it comes out.
I think I can sell d800 if xpro2 has faster AF and higher mpixel.
Oh and yeah viewfinder, I dont mess with electronic, but optical viewfinder on x100t comes really handy under daylight when compared with olympuses or x-1t. If you are cool with electronic viewfinder it doesnt matters much.
Made in japan so suck it kenrockwell. Most metal body, crappy battery life.
Its good. Id give the little shit 8.5/10 easy. x100t doesnt fiddles with you, it supports what you want to shoot. It is spesific. fix lens, small ergonomy etc.
