In your edit, you've got some dark, dully vaguely purple shit in the foreground that is considerably darker than the grass and pink flowers in the background. It's all backwards. Fuck the background. In super bright light like this you're never going to get everything properly exposed, so you've got to make sacrifices. Sacrifice the background and focus on the foreground.
