Canon's 85 f/1.2 is the go-to dream portrait prime, and you'll find a lot of studios have one on the shelf. I've never seen Nikon's in real life, despite working in multiple studios, and spending a great deal of time working with other photographers over the years.
>ultrawidesI'll give you that, sure, but ultrawide is even more niche than ultra-telephoto. You don't see many photographers getting paid to do jobs shooting at 11mm on full frame.
Note that I'm not saying that Canon has the best lenses for all art creation, merely that they have the best lenses for getting the JOB done.
And all of that being said, if you can't find a lens to take your photo, on ANY system, then the problem is you, not the brand. Including Sony. This is all just masturbation over 3 percentage points on a test chart, and really, who fucking cares?
