Exactly like any AF lens set to Manual focus.There is usually an aperture ring as well,if there is one then you can only change the aperture via the ring. I find that a very nice feature and i wish most AF lenses still had it . It is also easier to focus on mirrorless due to focus peaking and magnification. Oh yeah if you want the equivalent of an 85mm on your camera you should actually buy a 55mm or a 52/53mm to be more precise.

I've got a bunch of old glass, my best being the Helios 44-2 and 44-4m. I'm hoping to start getting some decent non shit tier lenses soon for my Fuji but so far even some of the dirt cheap stuff is alright.

Apart from PIC related, soligor 250mm f4.5 bought it with the K1000 and asahi pk-m42 for £3 with plans to use it on my Fuji for cheap wildlife photography. Its meh at best of times but holy fuck the CA.....

I'll get a picture in a second.

P.s. the K1000 is cash as fuck with the M42 adapter.

Does there exist some really cheap full frame old lens without focusing system (locked at infinity), optionally no diaphragms - no bokeh, no stabilisation system, super sharp (equally from center to edge), no vignetting, no chromatic aberation, no distortion. for nikon f mount (optional trough adapter).

So you want a long lens, with infinite depth of field, (already super difficult) no vignetting, no aperture, "super" sharp...

I want a super cheap manual transmission car that goes 350 miles per hour, never needs new tires, gets 40 miles per gallon, can fit my whole family inside, and can technically be insured as a family sedan. Preferably a Toyota, though I'm flexible on that.

It isn't going to happen.
You can't have a lens that's both longer than 50mm, and has infinite depth of field. And if you somehow did, you wouldn't have any of that "optically superior" because you'd be dealing with a LOT of diffraction. If you want infinite depth of field, you need a very wide lens.

Those features are going to cost you more, because they're so unusual. Few lenses are made for F mount without focus or aperture. Please just tell us what you want to do with it.

Unless the only textures you're interested in are at infinity, you do need focus. As lighting conditions are going to vary, you need aperture too; in any case, most lenses are less sharp and have more vignetting wide open. What you're looking for is a lens.

They price match. If you would rather order from B&H just tell them to match the price. They have the best customer service and way better shipping options/prices than Amazon so it's worth going through B&H, imo

I just recently finished putting together a set of 4 Yashica Yashinon DX lenses that I absolutely love. All m42 mount, but they adapt easily and cheaply to EF, which is what I normally use.

I also use them for video on various cameras (hdslrs, RED's, etc) so I've had them cine-modded.
