>>2585909>convert your rafs to tifs and o additional editing in lightroomThat's exactly it. I copy the files to my drive, open the folder in PN, and select the images I want to process quickly. I open them, drag down noise reduction and do a bit of light sharpening. Then do a bit of color if it's truly fucked up (from being handled oddly by PN) and export all as full sized TIFFs. Then, I open Lightroom and import the folder, with all the RAF files, and a sub-folder for the TIFFS I've edited.
If it's a fun photo that doesn't benefit much from added detail, or I'm just down-sampling for web or something, I won't bother with the PN step, and just process in LR, because it really isn't THAT bad, unless you really rely on the detail at full res. But yeah, I'll do the work on the ones that really need it from the TIFF files in LR, and PS, and work as usual.
To be honest, I don't even know if PN is better or worse when it comes to adjusting exposure, color, tones, etc. All I'm after is the fine detail, so I get in, get my detail, and get out, so I can get back to what I know, which is Lightroom.
