My point was that it's sharp enough that it doesn't matter.
It's a superspeed wide angle that can resolve better than Tri-X wide open. If you can't take a good photo with it, you're the problem.
If you want better critical performance as far as distortion and chromatic aberration go, because you're shooting buildings to print & hang 3m wide in the lobby of an architecture firm, choose another lens, there are better performers out there.
But this one is more than fine for vernacular photography.
