OM-D E-M1 WiFi

I'm trying to connect my new OM-D E-M1 to my Android mobile using the built in WiFi and OI.Share.

Only issue is, every instructional I see says to simply press the WiFi button in the top left of the rear-view LCD to be given a QR code to link the two equipment pieces.

I do not have the WiFi button showing on my screen. I have WiFi on and tried it with Private and Once Only settings.

Can anyone advise on how to get the WiFi button to show on the LCD so I can get the QR to show up on the camera?

Image is what it should be like but isn't for me.

Make sure you are set to live view, like in the image you posted. Then press the info button and see if it comes up in any of the modes.

Thanks. I worked it out now. I didn't have my SD card in as I was just doing basic setup and familiarization. Needs the SD card inserted to setup a WiFi network with a phone. Go figure.

where else should the camera store the information on which wifi to connect to and the passhrase?
Now that you know the solution it's clear to me, but I have to admit I wouldn't have figured this out in the first place.

I didn't think about it that way. I more assumed the camera had its default and changeable password details and the phone would do the basic logging and kicking off of a connection after the initial link. I've never been that smart with internet related hardware.

Internal memory, like the rest of the settings? Somewhere secure, and so you don't need strange miscellaneous files on your SD card?
