Atlanta! Nice to see something local here for a change.
That being said, there's not really much to write home about there.
>>2601044First, the light sucks. Downtown today was craptastic light. The composition feels imbalanced and haphazard. The crooked sliver of the Melia on the lefthand side of the frame heavily weights it to the left. As much as I love The Varsity, it's just too busy for a background. I don't mind the idea of including the tops of downtown in the background, but the position of the girl's head in the center of the frame doesn't really work. There's just too much head room or not enough--either way, having her head centered is bleh. I feel like you probably just like this shot because you like this girl.
>>2601046This isn't too bad, but it's still incredibly busy. The background is just clutter. The dude is blurry and doing nothing interesting. The quote doesn't really add anything to the frame.
>>2601047I concur with the other anon that there's way too much with the shadows and clarity here. Ultimately, there's nothing in this shot worth even saving. It's just crap light, and it's a girl doing nothing. This is good for getting "OMG! SOO much FUN!" comments on Facebook, but not much else.
>>2601051Again, this light was awful. The shot is crooked and the perspective is distorted. The cut off sign in the foreground is distracting. There doesn't appear to be any real thought to the composition. Why is CR off center? Why did you include a little bit of that thrift store? Why didn't you step forward or back a bit to get more or less of the store in frame? It just feels rushed with no thought.
