Hey /p/. I'm new here so be nice. I'm looking for a cheap camera to start photographing everyday life holidays etc. I know all your cameras will probably be very expensive DSLRs etc, but I want to start off with something low budget, around £100. Any suggestions?

That's not photography, that's just taking pictures. There's a difference, yeah. Anything that can take pictures will do, it won't make much difference to you.

You sound like you just want to use a CoolPix or something you'd keep in your purse. Just get a CoolPix or whatever it's called. Or like use your smart phones camera like 99% of Instagram does

That means photography is doing more than just pointing and shooting. Just get a cheap point and shoot camera if you don't plan to specifically engage in the art of photography. Otherwise you're wasting money for features you won't use.
