apparently on reddit some people posted that they either got it shipped or had someone that had it shipped to them. but also other reports of items being shipped, but returned by the shipper before it reached the persons house. Also amazon auto-price matched, so some people might have gotten one that way. but no real evidence anyone actually received the camera at the price.
It was a mistake, that Sony does not have to fulfill at all, no matter how much you complain. But, I'm sure it was worth a shot to try and do it, if it works, great, but 99% chance it wouldn't.
