I'm thinking about buying a Mamiya 6 but I want to see some quality square photos before I seal the deal.

Just buy the Mamiya 6. It's one of the best rangefinders ever. Most 6x6 images don't stay 6x6: one of the advantages of the format is that the camera stays oriented the same way and the image gets cropped.

What sucks about that is you essentially just get a 645 but you have more room for slop.
67 systems give you gigantor size but theyre huge and heavy and bang all over the place so unless you have a tripod, cable release, mirror up your f'ed

I'm surprised, couldn't optics from a generally top of the line system afford to use apertures with more leaves? I mean, optically, round is optimal, so why the barebones basic 5 leaves here?

First two you missed focus on her face, third is ruined by your shadow. Stop trying to shoot wide open and use the loupe better.

The ground glass may be out so shoot a few test shots.

Apart from that, be more considerate of your shots, gf is hot but the composition is lazy.

I don't know why I don't particularly like them, I think its because I didnt get as much bokeh as I wanted (had to shoot at like f18 / f22) and these are the best shots I got like 6 more that missed focus for no reason at all.

She is crazy beautiful and sweet but I had to call it off. I feel terrible.

But if I'd gone TLR, they also have Rollei Planars or <$300.

Dude im knocking my photographs not the hasselblad.

The only complaint I have is that in some of my shots I missed the focus, even with an actual viewfinder attachment and careful focusing, no shake ect

Still trying to figure out if its me (most likely) or the camera

Your - something that belongs to you, at this point you can presume it's to do with your camera.

Ground glass - I wonder what the fuck this could be, the only glass I can see in the camera is this fragile piece that's been ground down to a matte finish which replicates what will appear on the film. Could it be that? Maybe?
