Focusing scale is still accurate. Contrary to talking heads on the internet, its actually pretty hard to fuck up something as simple as an adapter- at least enough for it to matter.
I also have a more expensive helicoid M mount adapter, which does have a little bit of play to it. Allows the lens to focus up to a few centimeters, but of course having two focus rings invariably makes it a little more confusing to keep track of.
