Is this image accurate at all or is it biased? Looking at it I think the lightsphere looks best, but I hear a lot of people shitting on it.

OP here.

I have surmised that in many situations the Lightsphere is genuinely useful. If you have a small-to-medium sized room, and white walls ceilings, and if you rotate your flash head up, it works better than other options. Pointed dome forward, it gives you a passport kind of look.

The more you get rid of those factors, the less useful the Lightsphere becomes. Outdoors for example it's kinda useless.

This "test" is fucking terrible.

The bounce flash is best. But you underexposed the light horribly.

None of the others look good. Shadow = bad.

It's difficult to tell when the pictures aren't equally exposed. However, the bounced flash looks most diffused. All the others leave a very visible shadow on the wall.

The Stofen should look pretty much identical to the Lightsphere if it were pointed like pic related.
Looks like she instead pointed the flash straight forward for the Stofen and upwards for the Lightsphere.

They are both omnibounces and they work in the exact same way: send light in all directions so you get bounce from all walls plus ceiling.
Stofen is just more compact and a little more directional (which is generally a good thing since that gives you some more control).
