The warmness is from radiation though. Over the course of many years the radioactive elements tend to turn a little yellow. You can fix this with UV light - either an actual UV lamp for a day, or a couple days of leaving the lens in direct sunlight.
If it bugs you just get the SMC-K lenses (the first K-mount stuff, that came right after the Takumars) Same great glass, just in a different mount. Widely available on Keh and auction sites.
