>>2657518From a semi-outside perspective as someone who hasn't bought heavily into either Full Frame system yet, I'm more fascinated by the E-mount lenses than by F-mount lenses.
I think it's remarkable just how small the entire Lens+Frame size is, when all things are considered.
The 55mm is considered one of the worlds best Full Frame lenses, and the thing is just under 9cm long all in all with the flange distance. People even call it the mini-Otus.
The 35mm is a Top 20 lens on DXOmark. It's just a small pipsqeek lens with a physical body below 4 cm, and its body+flange being 5½cm in total. How could you ever become a Top 20 lens with those meager stats if your element construction wasn't incredible?
The 28mm is a Top 15 lens on DXOmark, this is still remarkable when considering its small size of 8cm length which additionally has to accommodate a f/2 aperture.
All in all, I see a line-up with incredible future ahead of it.
The lenses are so small, yet they pack incredible image quality for their size.
