Hey! I got back from my prom trip recently. I had a lot of fun. Went to Hallstatt and Prague, mainly.

Also i have no idea why lightroom didn't export my EXIF data properly, used to work fine.

Summer after 3rd year of HS, most of the class (who wants to go and can afford it) all go on a trip together. We went to parts of Austria and Prague and Dresden for a day. It's a common thing to do for schools here in Europe.

Lightroom. I usually edit them to the point where they look correctly exposed and then i apply certain VSCO stuff. Not always, when i feel it fits the pic. Posting more!

i don't dig them very much:
most of them are badly exposed tourist snappies that lack an interesting subject or any subject at all.
also digital grain is just horrible.

keep on having fun, but consider learning about your gear a bit instead of vscoing the shit out of your shots.

How are most of them badly exposed? All shot in raw and all look bright enough to me. However, I def gotta watch a tutorial or something on post processing to get more educated on the technical side of things.

And I feel the subjects are decent for the most part, even if the photo doesn't have a concrete subject, it still helps paint a picture in a set of photos.

You have some beautiful pictures and some meh. I guess you could try to filter what you post on your blog to develop a consistent body of work/aesthetic. Other than that, give analog photography a chance, it's MUCH better. Overall, I like it. Just don't fall for the temptation of filters and 'fast photography', as in the same context as fast food. It's always something premade, ready for consumption and often so common and tasteless.

But I like your work, you'll grow to be you on photography and develop quite an identity if you continue to practice.

I've only been to a few big cities, and its seems great! My moms work friend's daughter did it only for a year and she liked it so much she decided to stay longer. The Czech Republic is criminally underrated, I think.

you dont know what "badly exposed" means

anon said your photos are badly exposed because you have blown highlights all over the fucking place. you don't need to get better at post processing to fix poor exposure, you need to learn how to expose properly when you take the shot.

I like your pics OP. While some of them might technically be "badly exposed", they look nice.
Knowing how exposure works is essential in photography, but never forget that there are no rules, only tools. If blown highlights work for your picture, they work.

Anyone who implies that a picture is bad simply because it isn't exposed "correctly" is an idiot. Photography isn't about ticking the same checkboxes every time to make sure your picture is "technically correct".
