No reason to go out on a limb for something you just want to do as a hobby. Though if you really want to get into DSLR's, you have to start thinking about body and lenses combinations to achieve certain things etc. It starts getting expensive. Either way, whatever you want to do. If I were you though, I'd see about acquiring an upgrade via my service provider and investing in a really good case for the phone. Make sure you read reviews, etc, specifically on the cameras and their censors. Whatever you do, just remember, have fun with it. Shoot ya later :P
