My dream has absolutely nothing to do with gear.

My dream would be to have the means to shoot whatever I want, whenever I want. To follow the light, the storms, the wars, the people, the life and times of this mad planet unhindered by any 9-5 work obligations.

I could carry around a 10 year old DSLR, with some good lenses, and be happy. And get much better shots than anyone with an expensive, cutting edge camera who only goes out to shoot once in a while.

Here's the best advice I've ever heard: You want to take better pictures? Then put more interesting stuff in front of your camera.

I don't understand why people spend so much on gear to replace something they already have. Spend the money on travel or something so you actually have something to take photos of. I'd rather look at photos of something interesting taken on an old beat up film camera and some micro 4 3 camera than pictures of your cat taken with a Leica M9 and summicron

He probably just owns all this stuff. It's not too hard to believe. It's not like there aren't many people who own more expensive cameras. The cameras are not that expensive for a collector or hobbyist with a decent job. There are more expensive.

The QS-1 & Q7 have a crop factor of 4.7.
The Original Q and Q10 have a crop factor of 5.6.

With a 600mm Sigma Lens the equivalent is 2820mm and 3360mm respectively.

With my 8 inch, 2032mm, Schmidt Cassegrain telescope the equivalent becomes a 9550.4mm and 11,379.2mm respectively.

Of course at these focal lengths the image quality is significantly reduced.

FE mount is the same E mount.
