So... Say I'm fucking in love with my T2i, but I'm starting to notice it's age. I am also in love with the magic lantern firmware.

Should I upgrade to the t6i or the so tempting a 6000? I don't have the money for a 7D yet.

I use it mostly for video, short films and vfx plates.

7d is literally less than 500€ used with low shutter count.
Same quality, much better body. Worth it if you ask me.

why waste money on the t6i if you already have the t3i? the only discernible difference is the swivel screen. The 7D gives you better quality, ISO, and AF so you actually have a camera that's decent for more than just videos; it can actually take photos as well.

7d, not too sure, but I'd imagine its still a problem

thing is though it's very dependent on what you shoot (for video). are you doing a huge amount of fast pans like an amateur? then banding would be an issue, Everything else? 7d is just fine for everything, seriously. Definitely among the best digital price/value camera bodies currently out there (if you don't mind aps-c, which really isn't bad for anything other than astrophotography)

The 7DmkII is a piece of shit - the original 5D classic that is 10 fucking years old produces better image quality than the shitty 7DmkII.

Get a GH4. I don't know why you would be looking at cameras designed for stills when you want to shoot video.
