Well I might as well just ship it all off to dev at this rate. Anyone know of good services on or near the south coast worth trying?

My local store is about £6 per roll instore with 3 day turn around. It's a chain but the guys who run the store are alright, quite knowledgeable.

I Haven't shot any film for a while but next time I do I'll probably use a mail in type place and save a bit.

If it's that hard to find a place, develop your own, or take it to Boots (their scanning is shit, but their development has always been spot on for me) and then scan it yourself.

Pic related is from my first roll self-developed & scanned. It might be babby's first f/1.8 shot, but developing C41 film is easier than you'd think.

True dat. Buy a small tetenal c41 rapid kit. It is a fast and easy process and you only have one bath more than with bw developing.

Thanks friends, I used to dev my own film but now I don't have the time to dev and scan plus I sold my Epson scanner before I moved abroad

The south coast is a pretty fucking long stretch of land buddy. There's a fantastic lab in Brighton.

Bristol cameras are cheap, but they're using mediocre hardware, the dude running it cares about it all though.
