Recommend some good books on photography, preferably available as an eBook/PDF. I'm not talking about "How to operate a camera in full auto" - I need some advanced shit. I remember someone suggestion "Ways of seeing" by some author, that sounds like the kind of book I'm looking for.

Photography is basically unskilled labor.

Most of the hard science involved is in your camera's design, you can really pretty much eyeball and monkey handle what's left to do on your end.

(No, I'm not a camera designer - I also only eyeball and monkey handle...)

If you want artist opinions and the things they like to do, just hit Youtube / Websites and see what they actually do. Uncle Ken, Mr. Tony, Cousin Michael, Jared, Kai and a lot of less famous people have made it their business to bestow such information and reviews unto you.

The immense number of unskilled photographers, including those you cite Kai, Ken, Mr Tony, does not transform photography in a unskilled labor. Such a shame to read this, cause you probably are american, and americans such as Steinchen, Adams, White, Sexton and many others strived and succeed in making photography a serious art...

Semi-related to why I'm looking for some good books on advanced stuff - at moments, I feel like I got a shot purely by luck. In other words, instead of expecting the shot I "stumble" upon it, which is very frustrating because of how easily I could miss it.
