OP here, sorry, I wasn't very clear first time around. My question is about teleconverters: I want to know whether the use of an off-brand TC (bananas, as we call them around here) on top of my long primes (the ones that make the best "potatoes") is going to have a fundamental effect on the "character" of the lens, turning it into, as they say, "a totally different cat, man". I'd be very grateful for any advice.
