>>2683146 's word for it. Personally, I've always wanted to get into medium format ever since taking a large format class in 2009. My reasons were the larger format appealed to me, though I couldn't afford a 4x5 setup (and still can't).
I picked up a Yashica LM on Ebay two weeks ago and shot myself a test roll last week, and so far I'm loving the results I got from it.
