Hi /p/, I'm a noob to this hobby and I've been taking photos of people and scenery for a while now. I want to move forward and try my hand at effects and fake light.

How do you get colored lighting effects like the pic I uploaded and which kind of light equipment I should buy? Does anyone know where to find cheap and portable fog machines? Every cheap fog machine I have seen needs to be plugged and the battery ones are in the €1000+ range.

Any help towards the right direction or suggestions would be much appreciated.
