>>2718666>that use an entry level cameraThat's where you're a complete fucktard. You're considering the D5100 an entry level camera and the D7000 a step up camera.
They're the same fucking camera.
Your theory may hold a little bit more water if you were talking about the difference between, say, a D3000 and a D4, but the D7000 isn't anything greater than a D5100. Better photographers don't buy D7000's over lower model numbers. The only difference between the two is marketing bullshit. A more skilled photographer isn't going to upgrade from a D5100 to a D7000 because he knows that that's a waste of fucking money. If he's going to upgrade, he's going to upgrade to a full frame option and actually get an appreciable difference. You know who moves from a D5100 to a D7000? Fucking morons who (a) don't know the difference between the two, and (b) buy into Nikon's marketing shenanigans.
If a shitty photographer starts with a D7000, his photos will not be better than on a D5100. If a shitty D5100 user upgrades to a D7000, his photos will not be any better. If a good photographer has a D5100 and wants to upgrade, he's not going to waste his money spending several hundred more for incremental steps. He's going to actually buy a better camera.
There's no scenario where a D7000 user would be, on average, a better photographer than a D5100. No correlation whatsoever.
