What ISO film should I use if I want to do film concert photography for my dad's band? Obviously I won't be using flash.

depends on the lighting but you should probably find the highest ISO since concerts are typically really low light.

haven't been shooting a whole lot lately but here's a shot of new kids on the block from the summer. I wanna edit it over again but I left my external drive at home.

yeah. but when that happens i keep thinking of soo many shots i'm missing. i think i enjoy concerts more with a photopass. I was gonna go to L.A. last Friday to see X and Mike Watt, didn't get a response from management for the photo pass and didn't go :P

Nice, thanks, that's a great compliment since once in a while I will see some amazing work on here.

Personally I like the expression on her face, the texture of the tree and the contrast in her facing away form a bright neon

I have 400D and a nifty fifty too

a few days ago was the first time though I took my camera to a show, and it felt terrible, like I was an idiot poseur monkey dong taking pictures instead of enjoying the music

I find that stage-lighting is very good looking but sometimes its just too harsh of a light source... personally I find it a great source of light for B&Ws
