>>2830377have you shot as media at any club/lower level events before?
first thing you do when arriving is go to the media centre (if the event is big enough to warrant one), or just the race office, to sign in and sign any relevant forms, some events will require you to sign in each day, check when you sign in on the first day you attend
at bigger events you'll need to pick up a vest that you'll use for the weekend, smaller events you just bring your own most of the time
each circuit and event will have its own specific rules most of the time, so I'll just tell you some general ones that are usually in place here in australia, some of these will be rather obvious also lel
>unless you've been directly given permission face to face by an official, don't go on the track under any circumstances, until the course car signals the course open at the end of each day (very obvious one lel, this might differ in other countries)>don't obstruct the line of sight between marshal points>don't lean on/over barriers, leave a gap between you and the barriers, as they will deform if a car hits them>never sit/lie down when there's cars out on track, a rule I use is to always have the soles of your shoes in contact with the ground
