Always great seeing your threads zx, You've got composition on lock and I really enjoy your editing. The white borders complete the look nicely and I'm glad to see you keep it up.
>>2860855>>2860859>>2860865>>2860882>>2860884>>2861568These are good. Not great, but certainly not bad.
>>2860857Not as good as the ones above. Not sure about the shadow creeping in on the bottom right. If there were more shadows dotting the landscape (from clouds maybe) including the shadow in the bottom right would work better imo.
>>2860858Fucking killer, one of my faves from this set. The foreground detail is awesome and the composition suggesting this is a potential overgrown route to the mountain in the distance is the icing.
>>2860860I get why you included the shape of the snow in the bottom, but I have a feeling that panning up and allowing it to bleed out of the frame would have made for a more balanced composition.
>>2860864Favorite. Fucking ace shot. Reminds me of Hiroshi Sugimoto's diorama photographs.
>>2860868Beautiful. Not a typical composition. I would have tried including the tops of the hills in the background but the way you composed here gives the photo a much more 'expedition' type feel (wow that's a shitty way to explain). Anyway, it's composed nicely but doesn't appear TOO composed and I mean that in a good way.
>>2860870The disorganization of the sign vs ropes vs trail is great here.
>>2860874Super rad. I wish I could walk through there right now.
>>2860880Composition feels a bit unbalanced (too much space on the right side I think).
>>2860883Meh, predictable and that's why I think you feel it's the weakest.
Where'd you go? Some of these look like some hikes I've done in Gifu (Mt. Gozaisho). I need to get some more hikes under my belt while I'm still living here and this place looks pretty spectacular.
