>>2960236It's not rocket science -- looks at faces and ask whether in focus.
>>2958337In focus. I like the idea, but the composition is boring. I would try a tilted angle to imply motion and not place the subject smack in the middle.
>>2958338Head is not in focus. The shot seems to be focused on the shin. The lighting is also lousy, can barely make out the the face or the outlines of the figure. Some rim lighting might help to separate it from the background.
>>2958340Snake's head is in focus! Might work better with a different angle. Doesn't really feel like they're locking swords.
>>2958341Face is a blurry mess. Focus seams to be on the hip canister.
>>2958342Focus is clearly on the tree trunk. A great shot otherwise -- the slightly tilted angle really sets the scene, as if snake is about to pounce.
>>2958343It's in focus, nothing much else to say about it though, not very exciting.
What camera/lens are you using? I have a feeling that you may be too close to the subject in these shots. Autofocus isn't going to work when you're under the minimum focusing distance. Learn you camera's focus indicator, or just take your time and manual focus. A macro lens might also help, but a lot of these shots need a wider focal length than most macros lenses will give you.
By the way, do you have an instagram/flickr/site? Your execution is not perfect but you have decent ideas.
