Good weather sealing, been in heavy rain and fog with weather sealed lenses, no damage done at all. Dropped it too, rolled down a rocky mountain a couple of meters, it has dents by the rubber flaps but that's about it, very rugged. Kept out in -2C for half an hour, did fine, I'm sure Norway is colder than that though. If you're /out/ in forest area, no point getting it, there are already lots of better cameras out there. The main reason I bought it was because it was cheap as fuck.
