you will do yourself a service learning and starting with the cheaper 80D, and either saving that money or investing it in better glass. plus you will be glad to have the touch and swivel screen for video.
just take my advice... I started out where I'm assuming you are now back when the t2i was announced, learned at least a little bit since then. get yourself an 80D and either:
nifty fifty with 24mm pancake, or
18-35 sigma
literally all you need to start if you want something for photos and video
