I would have tried composing the cross against the sunset. It's tricky to find the right spot for the camera, but you can get the beams of light wrapping around the cross and it'll look magical. As it is right now, I don't feel those islands. They actually fucked up your composition, imho. Also, your shallow DOF made foreground too out of focus, why are you shooting landscapes at f/1.8?
>>2892549I like this very much, perfect golden hour lighting and nice setting. You have to get your verticals to be perfectly vertical or else the house looks like it's being blown away. If this is RAW format, you can open up the shadows a little bit and your white balance is maybe too warm.
