Literally brand spankin new to photography, how'd I do? I really like this shot it's got nice color but it feels a bit uneven.

google one point perspective. All verticals must be vertical and all horizontals must be horizontal. That means camera must be level both vertically and horizontally. If you tilt camera upwards, you will get garbage.

there is nothing wrong with composing pictures of every day things, making them look nice or getting a good angle

how many unique pictures have you really taken? most photographs we take have been done before in a similar way
